This was shot 30min ago during the last stages of a full lunar eclipse. I was all ready to get a nice shot of the eclipsing moon rise over Boston, but it was cloudy until the end. Que sera.

Butta Phat you out do yourself! This is amazing, and it is really recent. I have images from last night but nothing that good. Did you take it through your telescope?

Nope, 200mm with digital camera SLR, so it has a 1.5x multiplier (=300mm), then I cropped off half of the black space to give me something that looks like the equivalent of a 500mm lens. I didn't break out the tripod because it was the very end of the eclipse. Since this was shot hand-held, the focus is a tad soft to zoom in further than what you see.
