Walking out of the NSBE conference at the convention center in Pittburgh, the rain had just stopped and as I turned to my left I saw the rainbow perfectly framed between the buildings as the sun went down. Schmaltzy, yes, but still pretty.

Since North America missed out on the fun of experiencing the solar eclipse last week, I thought I'd share a lunar eclipse composition I took a few years back.

The moon was coming up over the Santa Cruz mountains and it was something sort of spooky. It's strange to see the red moon in California even though it was a staple in Arizona.
