Moving On

As of yesterday, I have an apartment in San Francisco. I won't be moving up there proper till the middle of the month, most likely. In the meantime I'll be moving my belongings up there little by little and trying to arrange the place ahead of time (unlike my usual methodology of boxing everything up, moving it in and then sleeping on boxes till the chiropractic bills become too steep). This whole thing marks a shift in my life here in sunny (actually, rainy, right now) California and I'm both dreading and looking forward to it. Wish me luck.

What part of San Francisco will you be in?

SOMA near 7th and Harrison. Not a bad area and fairly convenient. We'll see how I feel in couple of months though...

I hope you like it. As I understand it, when I’m working there I’ll be staying across from the Embarcadero Center on Clay St. Not too far, sort of, from you. Kinda.

Not far at all, a 2hr walk in the driving rain these days!

Rain? What's that? I seem to remember something like that long ago.

Anyway, about time! Enjoy the new place.

bout time Fucko. Now i can come and sleep in your tiny apartment sink.

Yep Pedro it's all about the excitement of city living and drinking Knob Creek out of the bottle.

As for you Jack, why aren't you out here already?

Hooray hooray!! I am both exctatically happy for you and painfully jealous. Are you in one of the lofty mondern construction places that I drool over? When's the PJ party?

All I see in this post is "Mohamed can now walk with me to cool restaurants in the city." I am diligently working on a transfer up there. I'm really happy to hear that the place worked out!

YAAAAY!
